technological means

John Cage

Invade areas where nothing’s definite (areas – micro and macro – adjacent the one we know in). It won’t sound like music – serial or electronic. It’ll sound like what we hear when we’re not hearing music, just hearing whatever wherever we happen to be. But to accomplish this our technological means must be constantly changing.

“Now that I finally found the one thing I denied”

“Now that I finally found the one thing I denied” by Nico,

I might be easy, it might be natural. it might have space/energy to be easy and natural. energy, space and their natural and timed forces.

In times of questioning, I recur to Tom Ze’s lyrics to find some inspiration and strength.

Tom Ze has is by far the artist I wanna be close to in order to understand live, love, society and art. I’ll be discussing some of his most amazing phrases here.

“ah, mister citizen, I wanna know, I wanna know, how many kilos of fear it takes to make a TRADITION”

“you need to hurt or to be hurt”

about love… among the two opinions, I have mine

“ridiculous crying, pathetic living, paradoxal pleasure, bowing to suffering”

“love is old, old, old, girl. love is the track with sheets and guilt, fear and magnificence.  (…) love is the hole to throw garbage and diamonds (…) prayers, sacrificing, cheating”

“oh girl, against you I already created the gods, the law, and for the body’s sin I condemned you. I’m convinced that this dirty war is long enough, I offer you a peace agreement.”

“tight your balls in a contract, more reasonable is our peace”

there is a lot of beauty in the chaos, and I’m not tripping

time as a variable

You Are Beautiful (Afraid) (Demo) by Nico on Grooveshark

“Cease to know or to tell
Or to see or to be your own
Cease to know or to tell
Or to see or to be your own
Have someone else’s will as your own
Have someone else’s will as your own” (Nico/Desertshore)

this song by Nico is called Afraid, however it is known as You’re Beautiful. I started relating both and asking myself about their covariance or their intersection. I’m not sure about that yet.

Nico’s first albums have been the soundtrack of my latest feelings. The songs allow me to have doubts and to wonder how to have everything… how to “split the rhyme”. I don’t know when to leave, how to arrive. I don’t even know where home is.

The Fairest Of The Seasons by Nico on Grooveshark

someone really special asked where I appeared from. I guess I’ll answer the question by not solving it. maybe I should say that it doesn’t matter where I appear from but where I’m going to. I can’t fit me into myself sometimes. time and doubts have their rulers and requests. I’d be special otherwise.
